Stir Fry
I would say stir fry is pretty much a staple recipe of mine, since it is versatile and an easy way to get your veggies in.
Usually I cook up slices of chicken and large chunks of veggies, but I wanted to mix it up a bit. Plus, I got a new Cuisinart Food Processor that I was really excited to slice stuff in.
Ingredients:
sliced veggies (I shredded a couple of mushrooms, carrots, zucchini, and yellow squash)
meat (usually chicken, but I used ground turkey)
rice
Sauce:
1/2 cup of teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup water
dash of soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
First you make the sauce. While the turkey is browning, add some sauce for it to cook in. When the meat is almost done add the veggies and rest of sauce. Cover and cook until veggies are done. This should be about 2ish minutes if you shredded your veggies, and 5 if they are big chunks.
Then, put over cooked rice and enjoy!

Sounds delicious! It's been a while since I stir fried a nice dish. Might have to start again now though;)
